Banana Buddies

Bananas are a staple at our house. This is a typical morning, as the two youngest Fletchers share banana time. All is well until one or the other runs out and decides the other's banana looks better, at which time a fight follows and banana starts flying.

We're Back

Sorry for the brief hiatus. Between basketball, stomach bugs, Valentine's Day, Grandparent's Day, testing, and two very busy toddlers (this all being in the last week!) we have not done a good job sharing our lives. We are going to try to do better. Basketball season is over this week and Mommy has no major school projects coming up, so there should be a few minutes to blog. Three of us, lucky Daddy, have been battling a stomach bug for about a week now. Hopefully all are on the uphill side and we can miss the other bugs being passed around.This is just a fun picture of two very busy toddlers sharing a brief moment of stillness. They both love Katie's big girl bed. So they spend lots of time climbing in and out of it as well as wrestling all over. In this picture we caught a moment of them both just relaxing. If memory serves me, seconds after this picture they both rolled off the bed and took off for another adventure. Check back soon for more.

Uncle Marc

Uncle Marc is always good for teaching the kids "great" habits. Here he is teaching Abram just the right way to stick your finger in the chocolate icing on the cake. He had Abram on his shoulders and would bend down just enough for Abram to get his fingers into the cake. It was all fun and games until Abram got a handful of icing and shared it with Uncle Marc's hair.

Winter Wonderland

We woke up Thursday morning to a winter wonderland. Mommy was as excited as the kids about a snow day. As soon as Abram was awake enough to move he ran from window to window yelling "now" (pronounced no-w). Katie just kept staring out the window trying to figure out what was different.
We started the morning with a filling breakfast of blueberry pancakes.

Then procceded to try to get everyone dressed. Not as easy as it may sound when you are trying to get several layers on very squirmy toddlers

After everyone was bundled to their noses, we all ventured outside.

Katie really didn't know what to do, so she just stood and watched Abram a lot. When she got up the nerve to move, she would drop down and crawl around for a minute and then just sit.
Abram on the other hand was all over the place. He threw snowballs with Daddy.
And helped build a snowman.

After a while we pulled out the sled and everyone got to ride while Mommy and Daddy pulled. Abram even tried his hand at pulling the sled.

At the end of the day, the whole Fletcher family was worn out. So we all went in, got warm and had a great nights sleep. To get ready for the next snow, which might be coming in on Saturday.

Christmas #2

More Christmas fun. These are pictures from Christmas #2 with Aunt Dot, Chad, Dottie, Will and Landon.

As promised some pictures from the Fletcher Christmas. This is the first of many celebrations we enjoyed. This was the first get-together at Great-Grandma Morgan's house with all the family there.

That's right folks, Katie is walking. It took her about a week or so of wobbling around and now she is going places.
